I love resources that can easily be used to meet the needs of different kids. Since this resource is editable, it makes differentiation a piece of cake! I am currently using it with my 3 year old twins to work on spelling and writing their names. It is also perfect to use in the classroom in a word work center, to practice spelling words, or even to practice tricky sight words.
Editable
This resource can be used to work on whatever words you want your little learners to practice. Simply open it up in PowerPoint and select the editable text boxes. Then you can type in whatever words you would like. You can use this to practice your weekly spelling words, practice sight words, or even words that follow the spelling pattern of your phonics lessons. It is even a great way for preschoolers to learn their own names!
I love that you can easily add more pages or change words if needed. You can even use different words for different groups, to differentiate within your class.
Once you have added the words you want them to work on and printed your recording pages, I recommend laminating them and using dry erase markers so that they can be used over and over again. The “love letters” can be added to a sensory bin for a bit of extra fun.
