Are you looking for a fun, no-prep counting activity? This digital summer freebie is a great way for little ones to practice counting to ten.
What are BOOM Cards?
If you haven’t had the chance to try BOOM Cards yet, I think they are a digital tool that you are going to love! They work on any device with internet, so they can be used on tablets, ipads, computers, interactive whiteboards, and smartphones. These digital task cards make differentiation easy, because you can choose which decks to assign each individual student. They also collect data, so you can easily see how students are understanding specific skills.
How to use BOOM Cards
BOOM Cards can be assigned by teachers or parents (AKA Homeschool Teachers). An adult needs to create an account in order to assign BOOM decks to students.
There are two ways to assign decks.
- You assign it and students will log in to their BOOM Learning account to do the activity. This method collects and reports the data from each student to your teacher page.
- Fast Pin- if you are not worried about individual student data, you can assign a fast pin. This does not require students to log in. They simply click the link (you can add the link to your Google classroom, Seesaw, etc.) then they type in the fast pin for the BOOM deck you would like them to complete. Then they can play!
