Make Your Own Monster Kit

Need a fun Halloween activity or handout? This Make Your Own Monster Kit has you covered! It is a super fun fine-motor skills center. Just throw in the included challenge cards to add a counting component for your little monster makers! It also includes the cutest toppers to make individual monster kits to pass out to your class, as a party favor, or to your trick or treaters.

How To Set Up Your Monster Making Center

This center is TONS of fun, and set up is a breeze! Print out the center label and challenge cards included in your free download. Then cut out the center tag, and fold it in half. Place it on the table. Then cut out your challenge cards and place them in a pile.

Now it’s time to get your building supplies ready. The beauty of this center is that you can use whatever craft supplies you have on hand! We used play dough, googly eyes, sparkly pipe cleaners, and colorful pom poms and feathers. I set our supplies in a separator tray from the dollar store.

Now that it’s all set up, little ones will pick a card and let their creativity soar as they create their own monsters! All while counting and practicing fine-motor skills!

Making Individual Kits

These individual kits are perfect to pass out as party favors, or they make a great option for non-candy Halloween treats. I made these to give to all of the kids in my twin daughters’ class for their Halloween party! They were super quick and easy to put together.

The toppers are designed to fit over sandwich sized baggies. So I filled each bag with a can of Playdoh, 5 googly eyes, 6 sparkly pipe cleaners (I cut each pipe cleaner into fourths), 3 pom poms, and 3 feathers.
